Requirements and Responsibilities
Surveys and investigates land surfaces to project precise measurement and location of lines, angles, points, areas, and elevations. Performs project research, boundary calculations, and records accuracy of survey data, notes, and sketches. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
