Requirements and Responsibilities
Administers and supports employee-qualified leave of absence programs such as sick leave, accident leave, short- and long-term disability, and FMLA. Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of all government regulations and laws and advises employees on company policy, guidelines, and documentation requirements. Monitors and tracks absence status, documentation, and return to work dates. Coordinates with managers to develop modified work scheduling or return to work accommodations connected to a leave of absence. May be involved in plan or policy design and vendor selection and oversight. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience.
