Requirements and Responsibilities |
Develops and administers risk management programs. Designs and implements policies to comply with safety legislation and industry practices. Coordinates and develops organization-wide programs for risk-free services. Acts as the liaison to attorneys, insurance companies, and individuals. Investigates any incidences that may result in an asset loss. Extensive knowledge of legal issues related to organization liability and insurance trends. Promotes organization-wide understanding about risks and risk management strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
