Designer III

Requirements and Responsibilities
Applies engineering or architectural principles to the design of buildings/structures and their components or assemblies. Prepares creative designs or related drawings or details; uses designs to develop specifications or estimates of materials needed for a project. May perform drafting duties requiring the use of CAD equipment or systems. Monitors the status of design projects and provides guidance to more junior designers or to drafters. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
