Credit and Collections Clerk I

Requirements and Responsibilities
Collects and maintains basic credit information. Notifies customers with overdue accounts, compiles credit information from financial institutions, and helps investigate reason for overdue status. Keeps record of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files, and credit risks. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a Supervisor or Manager. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
