Capacity Planner
Also referred to as: Manufacturing Capacity Planner, Production Capacity Planner, Production Metrics and Capacity Analyst
Requirements and Responsibilities
Gathers performance data and measures the output of a department or unit to determine achievement or variance with production schedules. Produces reports that evaluate plant capacity and identify areas where improvements can be implemented. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
