Responsible for all purchases by the organization. Evaluates and approves vendors and authorizes purchase orders for goods or services. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience in the field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May manage a staff of buyers and typically reports to a purchasing manager.
