Payment Recovery Specialist
|
|
Responsible for analysis of denied reimbursement claims. Ensures appropriate insurance coverage for compliance standards and revenue generation. Monitors, evaluates, and reviews all cost reporting in support of claims. Coordinates with departments and insurance companies to correct errors as necessary. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
