Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care
|
|
Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for psychiatric patients in a home care environment. Assists physician during psychiatric assessments and mental status examinations. May conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions. Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse with at least 2 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
