|
|
Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's product design policies, objectives, and initiatives. Oversees development of new products and improvements to existing products or product lines. Stays abreast of trends in the field and ensures that all products meet the strategic goals of the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of experience in the field. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
