Discount Brokerage Department Manager
|
|
Manages and leads a group of discount brokers responsible for the purchase and sale of securities at discounted prices. Develops marketing programs and strategies to increase profitability and enter new markets. Monitors transactions for accuracy and ensures satisfactory customer service. May interact with the organization's full-service brokers as needed. Ensures compliance with any applicable regulations. Requires NASD Series 7 license. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 7 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a director.
