Interior Designer IV
|
|
Develops project design criteria for various building and design types. Requirements include the ability to develop design concepts, produce contract documents, and interpret client needs. Must be familiar with design principles, building code requirements, and contract preparation and negotiation. Requires a bachelor's degree, an Architect license, and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department.
