Medical Technologist - Hematology
|
|
Performs routine blood, urinalysis, and coagulation procedures. May also be expected to study morphology of blood and perform coagulation studies. Identifies unusual results and takes appropriate action to make corrections and solve problems. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.
