Mine Engineer I
|
|
Prepares and inspects projects involving underground or surface mining. Responsible for planning and design of mine to ensure maximum stability. Oversees the construction of shafts and tunnel. Requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of direct experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
