Architect
|
|
Conceives, designs and constructs new or modified buildings or structures, such as private residences, office buildings, theaters, factories, and other structural property. Gathers and prepares information regarding cost and time estimates, material requirements, and completion times. Requires a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
