Technical Writing Director
|
|
Establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals for the technical writing department in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Ensures new and existing publications are in accordance with established documentation procedures. Develops standard documentation methods to effectively communicate product concepts and use. Ensures any necessary internal process documentation. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
