Facilities Director
|
|
Directs the daily activities of the facilities department. Oversees the functioning of building systems including mechanical, fire/life safety, elevators etc. May manage a staff of employees in the maintenance of buildings and grounds. Oversees contractors for facilities renovation projects entailing HVAC, electrical, production floor arrangement, etc. May require a bachelors degree and at least 10 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Leads and directs the work of others. Typically reports to a top management.
