Government Affairs Representative
|
|
Organizes activities that facilitates involvement of the public or an organization in government affairs. Helps write and review policies that supports the organizational goals. Acts as a liaison between the legislative entities and the organization. Provide the top management with regular reports on potential opportunities and documents legislation affecting the company policies. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
