Establishes and directs the strategic long term goals, policies and procedures for a division's information technology department. Determines a division's long-term systems needs and hardware acquisitions to accomplish the business objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in the field. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
