Telecommunications Engineering Technician II
|
|
Assists telecommunication engineers in the design and analysis of telecommunication networks. Creates plans and drawings detailing the layout of routers, circuits, cables, switches, or other telecommunications equipment. Ensures network connectivity for end-users. May evaluate existing networks and recommend design changes to improve performance. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-5 years of related experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
