Chief Information Technology Officer
|
|
Establishes and directs the strategic long term goals, policies and procedures for an information technology department. Determines an organization's long-term systems needs and hardware acquisitions to accomplish the organization's business objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree and may be expected to have an advanced degree in a related area with at least 10 years of experience in the information technology field. Generally manages middle managers/directors. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a CEO or COO.
