Safety Representative I
|
|
Outlines and implements training programs about employee safety procedures and accident protection and prevention. Responsibilities also include developing and distributing educational materials, inspecting company facilities, and recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor.
