Licensed Professional Counselor
|
|
Administers individual and group therapy. May be involved in crisis prevention or aiding with problems with adjustment after a major life event. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations. Requires a master's degree in area of specialty and at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area and state licensure as an LPC. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
