Discount Brokerage Operations Manager
|
|
Oversees the daily operations of the discount brokerage department. Responsible for the financial and business strategies relating to discount brokerage. Monitors the purchase and sale of discounted securities. Ensures accurate transactions, oversees account maintenance, and acts as a liaison with the organization's full-service broker as needed. Ensures compliance with all relevant government regulations. Keeps abreast of market conditions. Requires NASD Series 7 license. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 7 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a director.
