Claims Examiner
|
|
Reviews, evaluates and processes claims and makes recommendations for resolution. Has contact with agents, claimants, and policy holders. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
