Instructor - Chemical Engineering
|
|
Conducts college-level courses in the field of chemical engineering. Areas of instruction include engineering theories that teach students how to evaluate, design, and process chemical engineering procedures. Responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, leading and moderating classroom discussions, and administering and grading examinations. Requires a bachelor's/master's degree in area of specialty and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a department head.
