Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy
|
|
Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for patients in need of intravenous treatment or medication. Determines appropriate venipuncture site and administers intravenous therapeutic treatments. Provides information to patients and families regarding intravenous treatment. Requires an associate's degree and certification as a registered nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
