Trader (Block) I
|
|
Responsible for the timely buying and selling of block orders. Reviews orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Executes stock orders that consist of at least 10,000 shares or that have a value of $200,000 or more. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area and may require state licensure. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager.
