Clinical Information Systems Director
|
|
Directs and coordinates all aspects of implementation, design, and maintenance of clinical information systems in order to effectively use clinical information technology solutions to improve upon clinical operations. Coordinates projects with Information Technology in order to ensure effective integration of clinical systems with other institutional applications. May require an advanced degree and at least 7 years of direct experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
