Licensed Clinical Social Worker
|
|
Interviews, coordinates, and plans programs and activities to meet the social and emotional needs of clients or clients' family. Provides psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families. Requires a master's degree in social work, 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area, and a state license to practice clinical social work. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to the head of a unit/department.
