Order Fulfillment Director
|
|
Directs and oversees the order fulfillment process. Responsible for staff whose duties include order entry, administration, and shipping. Establishes processes for order tracking, maintains updated customer contact information, and monitors contracts or agreements for expiration or renewal. Ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. May act as a liaison with sales or customer service regarding ship dates or inventory levels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
