Top Division Engineering Executive
|
|
Establishes the overall objectives and initiatives of an engineering department for a division. Develops ideas for new products or product enhancements and oversees the creation and improvement of products that involve the division's engineering department. Provides engineering expertise to other departments where needed. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 10 years of direct experience in the field. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to CEO or top management.
