Determines the long-term systems needs and hardware acquisition to accomplish the organization's business objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree. May be expected to have an advanced degree in a related area and at least 10 years of experience in the field. Generally manages middle managers/directors. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a CEO or COO.
