Architectural Drafter I
|
|
Conceives, designs, plans and constructs models for new or modified structures. May also be responsible for using computer equipment to layout diagrams and schematics used to install and repair electrical systems. Coordinates and determines quantity and types of materials needed, and schedules material orders to support the construction or build schedule. May require an associate's degree in related area and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
