Stock Clerk - Grocery Store
|
|
Responsible for adequately stocking grocery store shelves. May also be responsible for new product displays. Prices new items and ensures that price changes are carried out appropriately. Assists customers in finding requested grocery items or with questions regarding pricing. Handles all grocery products in a safe, sanitary manner. Maintains cleanliness and neatness. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
