Nutritionist - Home Care
|
|
Coordinates, plans and conducts programs to educate patients in a home care environment about nutrition and medical nutrition therapy. Plans menus, inspects food to ensure portions adhere to set restrictions and dietary standards. Requires a bachelor's degree and is a registered dietitian with 2-4 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
