Ensures compliance to all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Schedules repair and maintenance, and investigates costs of outsourcing repairs. Requires a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area and a FAA aircraft and engine mechanic license. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to Aircraft Maintenance Manager.
