Pharmacy Technician Supervisor
|
|
Oversees the work of a team of Pharmacy Technicians that are responsible for dispensing medical prescriptions. Develops work schedules and hires and trains new employees. Fills prescriptions and monitors stock as needed. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager head of a unit/department.
