|
|
Oversees all the activities of the claims and provider reimbursement department. Sets procedures for filing reimbursement claims and ensures timely and accurate claims payments. Monitors, evaluates, and reviews all cost reporting in support of reimbursement claims. May require an advanced degree and at least 10 years of direct experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
