Mine Engineer III
|
|
Prepares and inspects projects involving underground or surface mining. Responsible for planning and design of mine to ensure maximum stability. Oversees the construction of shafts and tunnel. Requires a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of direct experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
