Bond Trading Manager
|
|
Manages and leads a group of bond traders responsible for the timely buying and selling of government or corporate bonds. Reviews orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Develops programs and strategies to increase profitability. Keeps abreast of market conditions. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 7 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a director.
