Transplant Nurse Coordinator
|
|
Provides and coordinates the clinical care of potential and actual transplant candidates and recipients. Manages data for transplant patients and coordinates the clinical management of post-transplant patients. Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse with at least one year of clinical experience and/or experience in the care and treatment of transplant patients. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
