Requirements and Responsibilities

Vice President of Residential Property Management has overall responsibility for a significant portfolio of residential properties. Develops leasing strategy and implements capital improvement plans that maximize sales, profitability, and tenant satisfaction. Being a Vice President of Residential Property Management trains and manages lower-level property managers. Has significant input into acquisition strategy and is responsible for overall profitability of the portfolio. Additionally, Vice President of Residential Property Management may support marketing and investor relations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Vice President of Residential Property Management manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.
