Requirements and Responsibilities

VP of Product/Brand Management leads, plans, and directs all aspects of the product lifecycle to ensure profitability and increase brand presence and awareness. Oversees the implementation of operating procedures to drive successful product or brand campaigns and leads process improvements as needed. Being a VP of Product/Brand Management ensures product and brand practices and initiatives align with greater organizational strategy and direction. Responsible for overseeing the management of the strategic product roadmap, product development, product launch, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product. Additionally, VP of Product/Brand Management collaborates with various departments to ensure the product vision is understood and implemented effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The VP of Product/Brand Management manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a VP of Product/Brand Management typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.
