Technical Training Senior Manager oversees a technical training department. Ensures that the technical training department successfully develops and administers all necessary training. Being a Technical Training Senior Manager establishes procedures and guidelines for assessing the quality of training and makes high-level changes if standards are not met or skill or knowledge gaps are identified. Works with other departments in the organization to identify new opportunities to implement helpful training and oversees that implementation. Additionally, Technical Training Senior Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an executive or head of a unit/department. The Technical Training Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Technical Training Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
