Requirements and Responsibilities
Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in the burn unit. Assists surgeon during examinations and therapy procedures. Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for burn patients as needed. Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Years of experience may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
