Special Education Teacher

Requirements and Responsibilities
Instructs special education students in a classroom setting. Prepares lesson plans and instructional materials designed to meet needs of individual students. Evaluates and monitors student's performance and may implement therapeutic programs for students. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the principal. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
