Requirements and Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy Supervisor supervises a team that develops strategies to increase the number of followers, engagement, and brand recognition across social media platforms. Analyzes social media data and uses it to improve content and strategies. Being a Social Media Strategy Supervisor researches target audiences and schedules content postings to maximize social media exposure. Identifies new social media trends that can benefit the organization. Additionally, Social Media Strategy Supervisor creates reports and presentations to communicate findings. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Social Media Strategy Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Social Media Strategy Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
