Requirements and Responsibilities

Signal & Image Processing Engineer II designs, develops, and tests mathematical algorithms used to analyze and process signal and imagery data. Applies signal and image processing principles and mathematical methods to develop image capture systems. Being a Signal & Image Processing Engineer II develops the concepts, requirements, architecture, prototypes, algorithms, and models for systems. Performs extensive testing and validation of designs using simulation and modeling software and tools. Additionally, Signal & Image Processing Engineer II conducts research and studies to create innovative approaches for solutions and products. Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Signal & Image Processing Engineer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Signal & Image Processing Engineer II typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
