Requirements and Responsibilities

Sales Representative I - Licensed conducts business development and sales activities with existing consumer banking customers and new prospects to increase sales of financial products and expand the customer base. Develops leads with customer profile development, telemarketing, and promotional events. Being a Sales Representative I - Licensed maintains a broad understanding and detailed knowledge of the current financial product offerings. Assesses customer needs, explains each product's characteristics and benefits, and makes recommendations that align with the customer's financial objectives. Additionally, Sales Representative I - Licensed may require a bachelor's degree. Completion of the FINRA Series 6 Investment Company Products/Variable Contract Limited Representative qualification exam and any required state licensing is required. Also requires completion of the FINRA Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination and any state licensing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sales Representative I - Licensed work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Sales Representative I - Licensed typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
